History & Trivia

Bred from Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' and Hosta montana in 2012 by champion Hosta breeder Diana Grenfell (1935-2021) at Applecourt Nursery, Hampshire.

King Charles III, then Prince of Wales, wrote the foreword to her New Encyclopedia of Hostas.
